A very useful item...

While mooching round IFA yesterday for items to report about I was very impressed by this nifty little vacume by Samsung that can be controlled using a Galaxy S 2!!

Another fine example of Samsung using there smart products to make life easier, despite having a high price of 599 i would love to have one of these! It even detects when it has reached an edge and stops its self from going any further!

Wave 3

So finally but not least i will give you a quick overview of the Wave 3

The Wave 3 runs Bada 2.0 which is Samsung's own powerful OS and it offers improved battery life, features and speed over the previous version.  The Wave packs a very powerful 1.4 processor which means the phone will run very smoothly and on back of the phone you will find a 5 Megapixel camera with flash and autofocus and even a front facing camera for video calls too!

Wave 3 is a fantastic device to look at, its slim and light but comes with a beautiful metal finish which makes it the ideal "Chic" phone.

During the Wave launch Samsung also introduced its universal messaging application "ChatOn". ChatOn will allow you to speak to contacts and friends in a similar fashion to Blackberry Messenger except that ChatOn will eventually support Android and iOS too.

I feel that the key features to the Wave 3 are...

1. Exceptional design, Slim and light which makes this the pefect chic phone or a great phone for anyone that has never owned a smartphone before!

2. Powerful 1.4ghz processor which will keep things ticking over beautifully and will make gaming a pleasure on this great device.

3. Super Amoled screen provides perfect blacks, breathtaking and colors and crisp text. Watching movies are fantastic on this 4 inch screen.

4. Bada 2.0, with Bada you can do more and play more without sacrificing battery life.

5. Social networking is fantastic on this phone with the brilliant ChatOn and the renowned Social Hub which helps keeps all your feeds in a easy to navigate inbox!

Galaxy Note

Have you ever took your smartphone to work but then realized you wanted just that extra screen size so you could see more and do more with the information on the display? Or have you ever took your tablet out but then realized it just isn't portable enough? Well the Galaxy Note is for you!!

The Galaxy note has a 5.3 inch Super Amoled Plus HD display which packs an amazing resolution of 800 x 1280 (WXGA) and packs a really impressive 285 dpi which will make sure all your font and web pages are incredibly crisp and easy to read. Also having the extra sized 5.3 inch screen you will be able to see more and do more, this is an incredibly unique device. The Note also packs an extremely powerful 1.4 dual core processor which makes editing your documents or browsing the web a breeze.

Despite having industry leading specifications Samsung have decided to revolutionize the mobile market with the genius "S Pen". The S Pen allows you to use the Note as a notepad, you will no longer be caught out without paper when you just need to jot a few things down for quickness. You can even edit photos and documents using the S Pen.

The only fault i could find with the S Pen is that you cant touch the capacitive touch buttons beneath the screen, whether this will be rectified in the final hardware will be interesting to see. It just means that you still need to use your thumbs occasionally while using the S Pen.

The key features of the Galaxy Note are..

1. Revolutionary "S Pen" which makes taking notes and editing photos on the go a fantastic but simple experience.

2. Greater screen size means you can "see more" and "do more". Finally being able to achieve the sketches of your desire!

3. Super Amoled Plus HD will make movies come alive on this jaw dropping screen while saving battery life at the same!

Enjoy these photos of the Galaxy Note!

Galaxy Tab 7.7

Samsung's last 7 inch tab has been a roaring success so it is understandable that this new 7.7 tab comes with a lot of expectations, and Samsung have surely delivered!

As you can see from the picture above the new 7.7 Tab comes with a gorgeous 7.67 Super Amoled Plus display which packs an impressive resolution of 1280 x 800. The new Tab is much slimmer than its previous model and is also much lighter in the hand which makes web browsing a breeze.

The 7.7 is now powered by dual core (1.4ghz) which means you will never be found wanting for more performance and to top it all off the tab comes with the latest version of Android Honeycomb (3.2)

The 7.7 is now fitted with an earpiece so you can actually hold the tab like a phone and make a call although i wouldn't really suggest it unless you want people staring at you :D

I had great pleasure using this wonderful device today and im sure i will continue to enjoy it throughout the IFA, for me the key features of the tab are

1. Lightweight, Portable and an extremely beautiful design!

2. Ground breaking performance, 1.4 dual core will run the most demanding honeycomb apps with ease!

3. Android Honeycomb 3.2 now supports smaller screen tablets and Micro SD Cards which means you will never run out of space!

If you have any questions or comments about the new 7.7 tab don't hesitate to contact me, please enjoy the tab photos below!

Mobiler Mission 3 - Show how i use my phone on a day to day basis!

Hi Guys, Ive been set another Samsung Mobiler mission this week and this time it is to show what i do with my phone on a daily basis. I thought about it and come to the conclusion that the easiest way for me to do this would be to use a screen recorder from the Android Market to show me flicking through the apps i use, then below the video i will give a brief description of each app you see in the video! So without further ado, here is the video! (Sorry about the quality, it was the best i could find!)

Order of Apps (As seen in the video)

1. Plume
Plume is probably my most used app out of all that's installed on my phone, it is a fully featured Twitter client that has a beautiful interface, notifications, several themes and other top features! Highly recommended for anyone who uses Twitter.

2. Friendcaster Pro
So another social networking app but a very good one at that! Ive never been a fan of the stock android facebook application and i feel it lacks a lot of features compared to the apps on other platforms. Friendcaster tries to fix that by offering push gmail notifications, a nice interface and other great features!

3. Arseblog
Not really relevant to anyone who doesnt support the mighty Arsenal :P but its an application i find myself using everyday. Arseblog is a great blog that talks about everything Arsenal.

4. Soccer Livescores
Another football application but this time its a score checking app. it hasn't got the best interface but it should be rewarded for its simplicity and it features nearly every game/league you could ever want to find the score for! Also includes push notifications if you require them!
5. ChompSMS
Chomp is a fully featured but lightweight text message replacement app, chomp can be fully customized to look anyway you want it to and features pop up notifications with a quick reply feature!

6. Samsung Browser
As the title suggests, this is the stock browser that comes with phones such as the S2 and the original galaxy S. With flash support, hardware acceleration and support for multiple windows its a great browsing experience. The hardware acceleration makes it incredibly smooth!

7. Gmail
If you have an android phone you have no doubt used Gmail, it provides great access to my emails and provides push notifications and full support for labels and folders etc.

8. SetCPU
I was debating whether to include this one or not but i do end up using it on a daily basis and it gives some very important features that i require so i decided to put it in. I dont suggest trying this unless you really know what your doing with it but in my use i have profiles set up that lower the processor speed when the screen is off which results in much better battery life!

So that's what i tend to use on my phone on a day to day basis, if anyone wants any more information on anything ive listed here then feel free to contact me! If anyone is interested in what i used to record the video it was the ShootMe app that is free to download in the market!

Thanks for reading!
